Thailand Itinerary

DAY 1 — PHUKET

Embark at Yacht Haven Marina. Once on board, cruise to Phang Nga Bay — famous for its monolithic limestone rocks and islets. Spend the day kayaking and visit Koh Panyi, a traditional stilted fishing village. Most famous in the area is James Bond Island, featured in "The Man with the Golden Gun."

DAY 2 — KRABI PROVINCE

An hour’s sail southeast from Phang Nga is Krabi Province. With its own movie feature, the islands of Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don in “The Beach”, Krabi boasts a stunning landscape of with its trademark karst formations formed along the coast. A rock climbers nirvana, spend the day rock climbing in Ao Nang and the evening enjoying the beach bars and nightlife.

DAY 3 — PATONG BAY & PHUKET'S WEST BEACHES

Phuket’s Surin, Bang Tao, Cherngtalay, and Layan are famous for their clubs and world-class resorts like Twin Palms, Amanpuri and Trisara. Big, bold, and bright the Vegas-like atmosphere of Patong Beach is worth a visit for souvenir shopping, golfing at one of five championship-standard gold courses, or being pampered at a five-star spa. At night let the lights and crowd sweep you into their vibrancy.

DAY 4 — SIMILAN ISLANDS

In 1982, the 128-squarekilometer area comprising the Similans was declared a marine national park. During the high season you can see between 30 to 50 meters underwater, perfect for snorkeling. Watch colorful schools of fish saunter by, manta rays grazing the sea bed and wale sharks stalking scooping their prey. Other activities include hikes to the top of the rocks and swimming.

DAY 5 — SURIN ISLANDS

The Koh Surin National Park comprises five islands — the two main islands being Surin Nua and Surin Tai. Offering world class dive sites, visit Richelieu Rock for sublime scuba diving. Guests also can go to the beach and look for monkeys and other wildlife or visit a Moken sea gypsy village. Cruise overnight to Phuket for disembarkation the following morning.
